Payroll offers both Basic (free) and Advanced (premium) options, enabling precise salary management with allowances, deductions, tax calculations, and flexible pay cycles. Advanced Payroll ensures transparency, compliance, and complete salary documentation for employees and administrators.
Payroll in our system is available in two versions: Basic Payroll and Advanced Payroll. Users who purchase the premium payroll package gain access to the Advanced Payroll module, while others continue with the Basic Payroll features which are Free. Advanced Payroll offers a comprehensive set of options, including Allowance Types, Deductions, Tax Slabs, Tax Rebate Slabs, and Salary Generation, enabling precise and compliant payroll management. All payroll configurations and records are displayed in organized index pages for easy monitoring and control. In Advanced Payroll, Allowances can be created under multiple types such as Non-Taxable, Fully Taxable, or Partially Taxable. Allowances support flexible configurations including fixed or variable amounts, exemption intervals (monthly or yearly), and rate calculations based on percentage. Similarly, Deductions can be defined as Pre-Tax or Post-Tax, with options for rate, amount type, default amounts, limits, intervals, and status updates. Tax Slabs are calculated on an individual basis, allowing administrators to define minimum and maximum income ranges, applicable tax rates, validity periods, and status controls. The Tax Rebate Slab feature manages tax refunds by configuring eligible percentages, rebate rates, maximum rebate amounts, and applicability based on age and gender, with full status management. Salary generation supports monthly, weekly, or daily pay cycles, allowing payroll to be generated by department and selected months, along with customizable payroll titles and notes. When the Force Generate option is enabled, any remaining days are automatically counted as paid or present days; otherwise, those days are treated as unpaid. Through the Action button, users can view complete payroll records and review salary calculations before finalization. Allowances and deductions must be assigned individually to each employee, and all employees can view their salary structure through the Salary Configuration option set up by HR or Admin. The system also includes a Mismatch option to highlight discrepancies where basic salary and allowances do not align with the gross salary. In Advanced Payroll, employees receive two separate documents: a Pay Slip and a Tax Slip, ensuring transparency and complete payroll documentation.
