Live Tracking is a premium add-on available within the HRM Setup module, designed to ensure location-verified attendance. This feature works in coordination with the Location Binding functionality through the Integration settings. To configure Live Tracking, administrators must add a valid Google Maps API key and define an allowable distance radius, which establishes the approved geographic boundary for check-ins. Live Tracking can be configured department-wise, allowing only users from selected departments to access and use the feature. If no departmental restriction is applied, the add-on becomes available to all users across the system. Attendance or check-ins can only be recorded when a user is physically present within the defined location boundary. This ensures accurate location compliance, prevents unauthorized check-ins, and supports transparent, location-based workforce tracking across the organization.
